Dalian factory will produce energy-saving gasoline direct injection fuel pump-housings,
supporting the rising green trend in the automotive industry
Beijing, China – Sept 13, 2012 – Jebsen Group (Jebsen), a leading marketing and distribution organisation for premium products with a unique presence in the Greater China region, today announced a new industrial partnership with MICON HOLDING, a Swiss based family-owned holding company with investments in global manufacturers of high-precision machined parts and in component assembly, to set up a joint venture: MSR-Jebsen Technologies.
MSR-Jebsen Technologies will be the third joint venture in Dalian for Jebsen Industrial’s Automotive Technik Division, following the successful establishment of Mitec-Jebsen Automotive Systems in 2007 and Jebsen-TCGAutomotive Systems in 2010. The new joint venture is planning to start pilot production in the first quarter of 2013.
Combining the division’s operations knowledge and robust local network with its partners’ technical expertise, Jebsen Industrial is bringing world-class automotive solutions to the Chinese market that meet the growing local demand for high-quality components.
MSR-Jebsen Technologies will initially focus on gasoline direct injection fuel pump-housings before expanding into turbo chargers and dual clutch applications—a particularly timely decision with the industry now seeking cleaner, greener alternatives via new fuel injection technologies. Gasoline Direct Injection turbo-charged engines, with their lowered carbon emissions, are currently regarded as the optimal solution for small and medium cars. Direct injection increases fuel efficiency by 15 per cent over conventional technologies. In the long term, MSR-Jebsen Technologies will contribute to the development of a sustainable and environmentally-friendly automotive market, a key national priority of the 2012 Government Work Report.

MSR-Jebsen Technologies is creating an initial capacity to support 850,000 fuel pumps, expanding to more than 1 million within three years.
